Another Question...
I love a good, plain Bic pen. You know, the clear one with the blue pointy lid that I can't get enough of chewing? I think they write the best, and they look the best. I just love a good Bic pen. Some people will pay an arm and a leg for fancy refillable pens. Not me. Give me a .99 cent bag of Bics, blue, with a couple red and black for spice, and I'm set. I'd go so far as to say I will never buy another type of pen. I am completely satisfied with my Bics (and somewhat compulsive about my notes all looking the same, so it works out well for me and my compulsive behaviors). Does anyone else have weird pen obsessions or am I flying solo here?

I like medium tipped parker fountain pens myself. I take any fountain pen, but parkers are preferred. You used to be able to get cheap plastic ones but alas no more.
I also like using manual (not electric) typewriters. They are fun. It also improves your keyboarding skills since you know that you do not have the backspace key of spell check to rely on.
I am less compulsive about my notes, as some of you are aware. But when it comes to the subject of notes who isn't less compulsive than Amanda, and isn't it great that she is? You always know that there is someone with legible notes to borrow in an emergency. I am definitely going to have to bone up on my begging skills for next year!
Who knew that there were so many porn fans in our little community? You people are sick! Do you hear me!! SICK!
Just kidding.
I'm also pen-obsessive, but in the completely opposite way from you, Amanda: I like to use all kinds of different pens for different purposes. For instance, I like to use a liquid ink pen for writing letters and birthday cards and such, because it seems fancier. But I refuse to waste the goodness of that kind of pen on cheques or stupid government forms - they only get the ballpoint.

p.s. Hooray for Amanda porn!
Oh dear, Amanda. From Michelle's p.s. it seems you are getting a reputation. Amanda, Amanda, what ever are we going to do with you?

Hmm . . . I myself prefer a good lead to anything in ink. Ooo the chalky graphite smudge of a soft lead pencil makes my letters look fatter, and somehow better. Warren, your fountain pens and manual typewriters are so quaint! Did anyone else suddenly imagine Warren with a cane and a monacle perusing a leather-bound volume in front of a fireplace?
Amanda's bic porn sounds so exciting I can't wait!!!! Is there a sexy cowboy? or maybe an angst-ridden indie rocker who has a steamy encounter with his blond bespectacled librarian roadie?
My little nephew Jesse has trouble pronouncing his hard "c"s and usually replaces them with "p"s instead. He also REALLY likes corn, leading to many an adventure in the grocery store with his mom. ie. "Mom, pu-lease can we have porn tonight? I love porn!"
Cheerio,

I'm afraid you're all going to be seriously disapointed in your suprises. They aren't porn-y or even sexy in the slightest.
Don't forget the ascot and smoking jacket! Something in a patterned red. Not the red of a bic or porn flick shag rug but rather the red of a robin's breast or rust. The ascot must be the purest white and the Italian brandy snifter filled with the best Napolean.
Quaint. Are you calling me old? That's it isn't it? Why you young whipper snappers! If I wasn't too drunk from the brandy that I might fall into the fireplace if I try to stand, I'd tan your hides good!
Where sunscreen everyone!
